Love an existing MiaDonna design but want to make a slight change? We can tailor many of our rings and accessories to your liking. Examples include, but are not limited to, setting a different size or shape center stone than those available for your setting, using gemstones as side stones along bands, changing the shape of the side stones, selecting a basket setting instead of a prong setting, and creating a two-tone design. For those looking to create something unique, our 3-step custom jewelry design process makes it easy to create your dream engagement ring, wedding band or accessory.
Fill out the request form and our team will be in touch within 24-48 business hours with an initial price estimate. Once approved, your estimate is refined and a final quote is provided via email. Final quotes are valid for 30 days. A 50% deposit is required to begin the design process. We can provide a payment link for the entire purchase amount if you wish to finance through Bread.
In order to begin the design process, we need to see your vision. With the visual references and product specifications collected in your request form, we will create a digital illustration using computer aided design (CAD). The CAD is then sent to you for review and approval via email. At this stage, you will have the opportunity to make adjustments to the design before it is handcrafted. Any major design changes are subject to additional fees and assessed on a case-by-case basis.
The final step brings your approved CAD to life. Using only conflict-free stones and the finest recycled metals, our master jewelers handcraft your finished piece to perfection. It is then thoroughly inspected before being shipped to you.

How long does it take to create a custom design?
Can I put a rush on a custom design order?
This is dependant on the design and specifications. Please submit your delivery deadline in your request form and we will confirm if it is possible.
Can you replicate a design from an image?
Creating an exact replicate is extremely difficult. However, we employ some of the most talented designers who create close-to-identical designs. The more images you submit illustrating the different angles of your desired jewelry, the better it will help us craft it.
Can you create a designer engagement ring?
We respect other jewelers' right to protect their intellectual property. We will not replicate any copyrighted designs as this would be deemed copyright infringement.
Can you make changes to my CAD before the jewelry is cast into metal?
Absolutely! Before approving your CAD, you'll have the opportunity to make adjustments. Any major design changes are subject to additional fees and assessed on a case-by-case basis. However, these costs will be presented for approval prior to proceeding. Please note that additional design fees are non-refundable.
Can I cancel my custom order after it has been placed?
We will refund your deposit if you cancel your order after your CAD has been received (approximately 5 business days from the time we receive your deposit).
Do you only make custom rings, or can I customize other jewelry?
Our custom design team can help you custom design any type of fine jewelry including engagement rings, wedding bands, everyday rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and cufflinks!
How much more does a custom ring cost compared to an existing design?
A custom ring does not necessarily cost more than a standard ring. You can work one-on-one with your custom design specialist to create a design that fits within your budget.
Can I return or exchange my custom ring?
Custom designed jewelry is final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
Will I receive a wax model of my ring?
We do not send out wax models of custom rings as they are incredibly delicate and cannot be shipped without high risk of damage. Most of the custom rings we create are produced using CAD, the best tool we use to create high-quality, custom pieces. The advantages of CAD are that you see an accurate virtual model of the jewelry prior to authorizing its fabrication and you have the opportunity to request design changes.
