If you’ve purchased a Diamond Hybrid simulant center stone and wish to upgrade your gorgeous ring to highlight a conflict-free lab grown diamond, we have unlimited options available! The only requirement is that the lab grown diamond of your choice be of greater value than the Diamond Hybrid you purchased. For example, if you purchased a 1.50ct round cut Diamond Hybrid for $443.00 and wish to upgrade to a 1.50ct lab grown diamond, (prices will vary based on cut, color, and clarity) it would look something like this:
1.50ct round lab grown diamond, H color, SI1 clarity, excellent cut, priced at $3,848 - $443, total for upgrade: $3,405
We also offer upgrades from lab grown diamond to lab grown diamond! The new lab grown diamond must be at least 50% more in cost than the original lab grown diamond. For example, if you purchased a 1.0ct round, H color, VS1 clarity, very good cut lab grown diamond for $2,314, you’d need to select a diamond priced at $3,471 or above.
Upgrading in Quality:
1.0ct Round, H color, VS1, Very Good cut for $2,314 to a 1.08ct Round, E color, VVS2, Ideal cut for $3,639 would come out to $1,325 with the trade-in of the original lab grown diamond.
Upgrading in Size:
1.0ct Round, H color, VS1, Very Good cut for $2,314 to a 1.50ct Round, H color, VS2, Very Good cut for $4,320 would come out to $2006 with the trade-in of the original lab grown diamond.
There are so many options available if you’re looking to upgrade your promise of forever! Please keep in mind that some rings will require new prong heads and re-setting if the center stone upgrade is significantly larger than the original center stone, and halo-style engagement rings cannot be reset with larger center stones without purchasing a new setting. If you have a solitaire style and choose to upgrade your size and a new prong head is needed, there will be a $250 prong head and resetting fee.
