Here is an overview of the important information customers shipping to Canada should know before purchasing online.

Shipping Fees and Timeline

MiaDonna charges a 100 USD shipping fee on all orders shipped to Canada which includes insurance on your package. All orders are shipped via FedEx International Priority (signature required) which takes one business day to reach Canada, then on average 1-10 business days to be inspected and released from customs. The timeline for release is up to the Canadian Customs Department, and unfortunately, MiaDonna has no influence on this process.

Duties & Taxes

MiaDonna does not collect import duties or taxes at the time of order. Any associated fees will be payable to the Canadian Customs Department. 

Duties

Duties may or may not be applied to your order. If so, they are dependent on the type of item, value of your order, and/or product origin.

Taxes

Any item mailed to Canada may be subject to the Goods and Services Tax (GST), Provincial Sales Tax (PST), and/or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). The HST is a consumption tax in Canada. It is used in provinces where both the GST and the PST have been combined into a single value sales tax.

Unless specifically exempted, you will be required to pay the 5% GST on items shipped into Canada by mail. Duties owed are based on the value of the goods in Canadian funds. The duty rates vary according to the type of goods and the country from which they came or were manufactured in. Depending on the goods or their value, some other taxes may apply, such as excise duty or excise tax on luxury items.

Currency

MiaDonna processes all transactions in USD. For your convenience, we provide an estimate CAD price that is based on real-time currency exchange rates updated on a daily basis.

Returns

MiaDonna offers a 30-day return policy on all orders shipped to Canada excluding custom and sales items. Please read our official return policy for full terms and conditions.

To return your order, please email [email protected] to request your RMA number and return instructions. MiaDonna will provide a full refund on a returned product providing it meets our return guidelines, less the original $100 shipping fee which is non-refundable. Unfortunately, we are unable to cover shipping costs back to our facility.

It should also be noted that duties and associated customs fees will not be refunded if the item/order is returned because you changed your mind, the item doesn't fit, or because you do not like the item. Please refer to the Canadian Border Services Agency website for further information.
